As owner and sole proprietor, Donna Whitney is a certified Veterinary Technician earning her associates degree at the University of Maine at Orono in 1982.  From 1982-1994 Donna was employed as a Humane Society Manager/Veterinary Technician and Dog Trainer. (Apprenticing under numerous professional dog trainers.)  From 1995 until disbanding in 2003, Donna was a partner in a successful dog training business and retail.  Donna now operates a full dog obedience training service and retail.

Donna owns & breeds Labrador Retrievers. Donna has one of her Labs. with  CGC/CD Obedience title. Also, One of her Labs. has been tested and certified as a Therapy Dog through Therapy Dogs International, Inc. (TDI) and has her RN (Rally Novice)& RA (Rally Advanced) titles.  Donna is certified through AKC as an evaluator for AKC'S Canine Good Citizen Program (C.G.C.).

In 2007, Donna became a member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and  passed the Certification Examination For Pet Dog Trainers (CPDT).

In 2003, Donna and a handful of other dog active people, founded The Tri-County Obedience Club which serves Franklin, Kennebec and Somerset Counties.  Donna has been the president & the Vice President. This year 2009, now holds an At-Large board position. FMI: www.tcoc.4t.com
